Overview

What this training covers

BLS is the standard many employers, facilities, and clinical roles require — and it goes a step beyond community CPR. It's built for people who may need to lead or work within a resuscitation team.

Taught by a registered nurse who has used BLS on the floor, this course focuses on high-performance CPR, bag-valve-mask ventilation, team dynamics, and the details that separate a certified card from real, usable competence.

  • High-quality single- and two-rescuer CPR (adult, child, infant)
  • Bag-valve-mask (BVM) ventilation
  • Team-based resuscitation and role clarity
  • AED integration into a resuscitation attempt
  • Relief of choking & airway management
  • Provider-level, same-day certification

How It Works

Your day, step by step

1

Provider-level foundations

A focused review of the resuscitation sequence and what 'high-quality CPR' actually means when seconds count.

2

Hands-on skills

Practice single- and two-rescuer CPR, BVM ventilation, and AED use on adult, child, and infant manikins.

3

Team dynamics

Drill the communication and role-switching that make a real resuscitation team effective, not chaotic.

4

Skills check & card

Demonstrate the skills, pass your check, and leave certified the same day.

Questions

BLS Certification — FAQs

Who needs BLS instead of CPR?

Nurses, CNAs, medical and dental staff, care-home staff, and many healthcare students need provider-level BLS. If you're not in a clinical role, community CPR is usually the right fit.

Is this the AHA BLS standard?

Training is delivered through an American Heart Association Training Center to a recognized provider-level standard.

Can you train our whole care team on-site?

Yes — onsite group BLS for facilities and group homes is one of the things we do most. We bring everything to you.

How long does BLS take?

A single day. Group size affects the exact timing, but you'll finish certified that day.

What if I'm renewing?

Renewals are welcome. Let us know your role and we'll make sure the session fits what you need.

How do we get pricing?

Tell us your team size and location and we'll send a no-obligation quote the same day.
