Overview

What this training covers

Most emergencies aren't cardiac arrest — they're a bad cut, a burn, a fall, a fainting spell, an allergic reaction. First Aid training makes sure that when something goes wrong, someone in the room knows exactly what to do instead of freezing.

This is practical, scenario-based training from a nurse who has treated these situations for real. You'll leave knowing how to assess a scene, control bleeding, care for burns and fractures, and recognize when something needs a 911 call now.

  • Scene assessment & staying safe
  • Bleeding control and wound care
  • Burns, sprains, and fractures
  • Recognizing strokes, seizures & allergic reactions
  • When to call 911 vs. manage on scene
  • Hands-on scenario practice
